PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO SUPPLY NEW SPARE PARTS

Here at The Magneto Guys, we see no point in manufacturing the same parts that others are already providing so when we need new parts that are readily available and, importantly,  that fit and work satisfactorily, then we buy them in. We are not really a retail operation so do not sell them on - it makes sense for you to buy them from the same people we buy them from.....
That said, if no-one else is manufacturing something we feel would be in demand we are happy to look into what might be involved in making it available. This section includes those products we have designed and now manufacture ourselves plus some products which we have arranged to be manufactured for us by others.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR OUR OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS


Customs duties  

It has always been the case that, with all overseas sales, it is quite likely that your country will impose custom duty and/or VAT. For most countries, any payment due was paid by the receiver. However the rules have now changed.


For all parcels going overseas, Royal Mail now ask the sender (us) to pay the import duties and VAT on parcels being sent to some, but not all, overseas countries. They then pass on the fees to the relevant country's government. It started with the USA tariff in February 2026. Then, in July 2026, it was extended to include all EU countries. Others may follow. The problem is that the amount charged varies from country to country! Our website was originally set up as an information provider and so the facilities available for on line shopping are very limited. We now have to manually determine how much extra (if any) we need to add to our invoice! Please be aware that, even if we don't need to add any duties to our invoice, you may still be required to pay them when the package reaches your country.

Please note: we are more than happy to continue to sell overseas!


If you are overseas and would like buy from us, please email us at workshop@themagnetoguys.co.uk with the following information:

  1. the item(s) required and how many (PLEASE NOTE: If it's an oil tap with cut out switch, please specify which of the four options you require!)
  2. your name and delivery address
  3. your email address. (Royal Mail will send you updated tracking information)
  4. your telephone number (required by Royal Mail for many countries when booking the parcel)


We can then calculate the charges together with Royal Mail's handling charge and create a proforma invoice which will be emailed to you. This will detail total costs and details of how to pay if you wish to then go ahead with the purchase.

Delivery times

The Magneto Guys currently use the  Royal Mail 'International Tracked' service for overseas sales.  Their website states that they aim to deliver in 3-5 business days for Europe, 6-7 business days for Rest of World.
